Xiaomi is dispatching a new MIUI update for the Redmi K40 Pro+ smartphone users in China, which installs the latest September 2023 Android security patch. To be mentioned, the update is already available for dozens of devices including the Redmi K40 Pro model.
As per the details, the owners of Redmi K40 Pro+ will be able to identify the September 2023 security patch via the MIUI build version V14.0.7.0.TKKCNXM. In addition, the refinements and fixes of the firmware are collected in a massive installation package of around 5.5 Gigabytes.
This new firmware will improve the core mechanism of the system and provide increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It will also resolve common bugs and issues, to reduce the risk of system crashes and data loss.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE MANUALLY
- Open the Settings app on your smartphone.
- Tap on the About Phone option.
- Click on the System and Update menu.
- Fetch for the latest MIUI version.
- Once you find the mentioned version.
- Hit the Download button and Install the update.
