Redmi K60 Ultra to support four Android and five years of software updates

On August 14, 2023, Xiaomi released the powerful and features riched device, the Redmi K60 Ultra in the Chinese market, therefore, the firm also confirms that it will support four Android and five years of software updates. Notably, it is going to be a new move in the history of Xiaomi’s software update policy.

The Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone came pre-installed on Android 13 based MIUI 14 software version and is tipped to obtain Android 17 once it’s been released. However, we have now caught a new poster that clearly indicates that the Redmi K60 Ultra will support four Android and five years of software updates.

With this extended software update support, the newly launched device has taken a step further, aiming to be a superior option in terms of software. Also, it’s going to be the first time when a Xiaomi branded phone will offer Android updates for 4 years and we might see the same treatment for the upcoming flagship devices.
