Redmi Note 11 Pro grabs May 2023 update, MIUI 14 still awaits

In a recent development, Xiaomi has started to roll out the all-new May 2023 Android security update for the Redmi Note 11 Pro devices. The consumers of the corresponding models are waiting to taste the flavors of MIUI 14 based on Android 13 software, which is still awaited for smartphones.

As per the information, the Chinese tech giant was testing the new version of MIUI, and the testing also reached the last stage. Thus, we can expect that the update may be rollout for the Redmi Note 11 Pro devices at the end of the current month.  Which will take the user’s experience to a new level.

Currently, let’s stick to the recent scenario, so the May 2023 security update is released for the 5G variant of Redmi Note 11 Pro, and the 4G models will also collect it in the coming days. Also, the firmware has arrived with the MIUI build version V13.0.3.0.SKCJPXM and it further carries a 3.3GB package size.

Moving further, the latest firmware will work to improve the core mechanism of the system and provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It will also improve the stability grades and offer a more adequate user experience.

Accordingly, the update is initially rolling out in Japan, thus it will get available for more users in the coming days. To download the update manually, open the Settings app on your phone and click on the System Update menu followed by the About Phone option. Now, press the MIUI version and let the system fetch the latest version, once, done, hit the Download button and Install the patch.
