Xiaomi is dispatching a new MIUI update for the Redmi Note 11S 5G devices, which installs the latest September 2023 Android security patch. Notably, it’s an initial rollout and the firmware is live in Europe at the moment. The company will expand the reach of the patch to more users soon.
Going toward the details, the owners of Redmi Note 11S 5G will be able to identify the September 2023 update via the MIUI build version V14.0.4.0.TGLEUXM and need to download a 3.8GB package size.
The latest update didn’t bring any new features or major changes to your device, but it ensures that the system up to date and protected with the most recent secure protocols. Users may also notice fixes in the bugs and issues that were ruining the user experience.
However, the update is rolling out gradually and will take some time to cover all the eligible units. In this case, you can proceed with the manual installation process through Settings > About Phone > System Updates > MIUI version > Download & Install.
