Xiaomi is rolling out the April 2023 Android security patch for the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G smartphones in Europe. The latest firmware has arrived to maintain the reliability of the system and further resolve some common bugs and glitches that may have been ruining the user’s experience.
As per the information, the owners of Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G will be able to identify the April 2023 security patch through the MIUI build version V13.0.4.0.RHGEUXM and carries an installation package of 3.7GB. Therefore, the other models of the same series have started obtaining the May 2023 patch.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G is an adequate device that features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone further powers a Snapdragon 732G chipset making it a more powerful device. The SoC is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and uses a 5000mAh battery.
Being a regular monthly firmware, the update will enhance the security and stability of your smartphone and boost its performance for a better user experience. The freshly-released patch is making its way to these devices via the OTA (Over The Air) distribution method. Hence, it could take a few days to cover all the units in the regions. But, you can try the manual setup through Settings > About Phone > System Update > MIUI Version > Download & Install.
