After investing a lot of time in testing, Xiaomi has now finally rolled out the MIUI 14 stable update based on Android 12 OS for Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphones. This new software version will make the Redmi Note 9 Pro device run faster, smoother, and more accurately along with a bundle of new elements.
According to the information, the Android 12-based MIUI 14 is the last major update for Redmi Note 9 Pro devices, after this, the models will only receive security patches for the optimized performance of their system. Also, the update is rolling out in three countries including Russia, India, and Turkey.
Users of Redmi Note 9 Pro will be able to identify the MIUI 14 update through the mentioned build versions.
Software version
- Russia – V14.0.1.0.SJZRUXM
- India – V14.0.3.0.SJWINXM
- Turkey – V14.0.1.0.SJZTRXM
Alongside the version, the update also carries a software package of above 2.0 Gigabytes. Hence, the corresponding device owners must opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data.
Based on Android 12 the MIUI 14 update will offer you various cosmetic and performance-related changes such as a flexible and more intuitive design, back-end optimizations, tabular icons, advanced search in settings, bigger folders, stronger performance while more space-saving, on-device privacy, connected device and more.
Besides, the update also carries an April 2023 Android security patch, which will enhance the overall security and stability of Note 9 Pro devices and make them more safe and secure. However, the update is currently live in India, Russia, and Turkey, therefore, it will further expand to more users in the coming days.
Also, it’s an incremental rollout, thus it may take some time to cover all the eligible units. Therefore, if you reside in any of the mentioned countries, then you can check and install the latest patch manually through Settings > About Phone > System Update > MIUI Version > Download & Install.
