Earlier this month, Xiaomi started rolling out the beta update of MIUI 14 for the Redmi Note 9S smartphone users in Global and Europe regions. Meanwhile, now the significant features and optimizations of the MIUI 14 software are available for the Redmi Note 9S devices in India.

As per the information, the MIUI 14 beta for Redmi Note 9S smartphones has arrived in India with the build version V14.0.3.0.SJWIN XM. Simultaneously, it carries the April 2023 Android security patch, so that the beta version of the software could not affect the system and its reliability could be maintained.

Notably, MIUI 14 is released uprooted on the Android 12 operating system for the Note 9S devices, since the device has completed its software support. It means the corresponding device owners will not be able to enjoy the advanced functionalities of the thirteenth-generation software system.

MIUI 14 will offer you a set of functionalities including the reimagined home screen, tabular icons, bigger folders, and advanced search in settings for a more adequate experience. It further provides optimized on-device privacy, back-end optimizations, a new set of wallpapers, more robust performance, and much more.

Therefore, the update is currently live for the Pilot testers of Note 9S. Thus, if you are a beta tester user and living in India. Then get ready to experience the new functionalities on your smartphone. But before moving towards the process of installing the update take care of some precautions and assumptions.

  • Don’t forget to back up all important items before upgrading.
  • The update process might take longer than usual.
  • Expect overheating and other performance issues after you update – it might take some time for your device to adapt to the new version.
