Xiaomi is releasing the June 2023 MIUI patch for the Redmi Pad devices in China. This new firmware comes with the aim to improve the core mechanism and offer enhanced security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure.
Notably, the update for Redmi Pad devices was initially released in Europe and the company will not let other region users wait for too long. To be mentioned, the Chinese tech maker is also planning to unveil the successor of the Redmi Pad, in the form of Pad 2 soon.
Accordingly, the consumers of the Redmi Pad will be able to identify the June 2023 security patch via the MIUI build version V14.0.7.0.TLYCNXM and will need to download a 4.4GB package size in China.
The update is released gradually and will be available for every eligible unit soon. In case you don’t want to wait for the OTA. Then you can download the update manually via Settings > About phone > System Updates > MIUI version > Download & Install.
