Samsung brings Digital Key features to the Galaxy S21 Series
On 28 September, Samsung started to release the latest October 2021 security update to the Galaxy S21 series smartphone users across Europe and Asia. However, the company is also releasing the October 2021 update in South Korea, which brings an absolutely big feature.
The report indicates that, Samsung brought the Digital Key function to the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy S21+ smartphones in South Korea. To be mentioned, at the announcement of the S21 series earlier this year, the company introduced this feature and promised to add a car key to Samsung Pass.
After this, the Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra consumers in South Korea can now register their card keys to Samsung Pass if they have a compatible car. Earlier this year, Samsung confirmed that select models from Audi, BMW, Genesis, and Ford will get car key support.

The Digital Key feature lets Galaxy consumers open and close the doors of their card using an NFC tag and turning on the engine by placing the smartphone on the wireless charging pad. However, the feature is initially rolling out in Samsung’s home ground but could soon be available to more regions.
