Car Crash Detection is a feature that is designed to detect severe car crashes such as front-impact, side-impact and rear-end collisions and rollovers. It works with the help of an accelerometer, gyro, and microphone to get audio and movement data from your smartphone.
Car crash detection is a potentially life-saving feature available on Pixel phones and recent iPhones, but so far no other OEM has implemented it.
There's hints that the Samsung Galaxy S24 and Z Fold 5 could be getting a feature like this, though.https://t.co/vYHfFmYR6p
