Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series has received the December 2023 update in the US. The new security update rolling out to the Verizon carrier-locked models and unlocked Galaxy Note 20 series.
The December 2023 security update for unlocked models of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones in the US can be identified through One UI build version N981U1UES6HWK1 and N986U1UES6HWK1 respectively. For the locked Verizon units:
- Galaxy Note 20 – N981USQS6HWK1
- Galaxy Note 20 Ultra – N986USQS6HWK1
The latest update includes the December 2023 security patch, which fixes over 60 security flaws identified in the previous version of the software. It is a minor update, so don’t expect it to bring any new features or changes.
You can check it through Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install. If you have received the update then you can install it to enjoy enhanced features.
