Samsung released Dual Recording camera feature for Galaxy S20 and Note 20 with May 2021 security update

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series was launched in January 2021, equipped with the most powerful hardware and the latest software combination. Since the Galaxy S series includes smartphones for cameras, the latest S21 phones also highlight a variety of camera functions.

Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 will be security updated in May 2021 and will have Director’s View-like Dual Recording Camera function

Director’s View is one of the best camera features included with the Galaxy S21 model. This new camera function can display a preview of all rear camera lenses on the viewfinder while recording the video. In addition, it also allows you to record video through the front camera at the same time.

So far, Samsung has launched some new camera feature pack firmware updates, from the latest Galaxy S21 flagship to the old flagship products (such as the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series) that have added multiple camera functions. However, these firmware updates did not bring the most anticipated Director View feature.

Director’s view-like dual recording mode

At the same time, the South Korean technology giant seems to have delivered the Director-inspired “dual recording” camera function to the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 series, as well as the recent May 2021 security update.

After enabling dual recording mode, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 owners can record video from the rear (main) and front cameras at the same time.

If these smartphone owners have received the May 2021 security update, they can easily find the newly added dual recording mode in the stock camera app. At the same time, it is not clear whether Samsung will provide this feature for older flagship stores such as Galaxy Note 10 and S10 and Galaxy S20 FE.
