Samsung Galaxy A23 devices have begun receiving a new software update, which luckily brings the May 2023 Android security patch, for better system security and enhanced stability. Yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series began obtaining the latest firmware and the Galaxy A10e was the first to collect it.
It’s not surprising to see that, the Korean tech giant is seeding its mid-range device the Samsung Galaxy A23 with the May 2023 update, before the flagship models. Because the firm never discriminates between high-end and low-end devices and tries to maintain the system with the most recent technology advancements.
As per the information, the owners of Galaxy A23 devices will be able to identify the latest firmware update through the One UI build version A235FXXS2CWD1. Notably, the update is currently live for the 4G variant of the phone, however, the 5G models will also collect the patch soon.
May 2023 Update
The latest update didn’t contain any new elements or major changes for your Galaxy device, but it will surely enhance the safety of the system and make it more reliable. Consequently, it may also protect your device from harmful threats and resolve common issues and glitches that have been found in the system.
In addition, the security patch bulletin of the May 2023 update, also mentions that the firmware will resolve more than 58 vulnerabilities and exposures including 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate levels of CVEs from Google and 21 SVEs from Samsung software.
Talking about availability, the update is currently live in some Asian and European markets including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. Therefore, we can expect that the company will expand the reach of the patch to more users in the coming days or weeks.
