OCTOBER 01, 2021 – October 2021 security patch
A few days ago, Samsung has started the latest security update distribution for its Galaxy S21 series smartphones. Moving ahead, the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Note 20 series have also joined the party with October 2021 security patch.
As per the latest information, Samsung Galaxy A50 started getting the most up-to-date October 2021 security patch with a new firmware update in several countries. At the moment, the update rollout is taking place in Colombia, Bolivia, and Dominican Republic with PDA version number A505GUBS9CUI3.
Other than the system security improvements through October 2021 security patch, the update didn’t bring any new feature or optimization. At the same time, Samsung has yet to release the security bulletin of this month’s patch for Galaxy devices, however, it could arrive in the first week.
Previously in 2019, the Galaxy A50 is Samsung’s one of the most popular smartphones that belong to a mid-range segment. Following its promise, the company delivered the Android 10-based One UI 2 update last year followed by Android 11-based One UI 3 earlier this year.
