Starting with Samsung Galaxy M31 and Galaxy S9 devices, several flagship and non-flagship smartphones have updated to the January 2021 security patch. Still, the company is expanding the latest security update to its remaining Galaxy devices.
According to the info, Samsung is now releasing a new software update to the Galaxy A71 5G smartphones. This update includes fixes for 47 high and 1 critical level of exploits with the Android patches released in January 2021.
The Galaxy A71 5G owners will get this update with a firmware version A716BXXS5BUA2 when the company starts the broader rollout. It is currently spotted on two Galaxy A71 5G phones in Taiwan.

Launched with Android 10, the Galaxy A71 5G devices are currently running on the One UI 2.5 version. As per the official update roadmap, Samsung will start sending the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update for these phones from March 2021.
