Now, the company is rolling out a new firmware update to the first-generation folding phone, Galaxy Fold. This update comes with the software version of the F900FXXU4EUCF and installs the latest Android patch released in April 2021.
On the other side, Samsung has not yet released the One UI security bulletin for the April 2021 security update. As usual, it will be released in the first week of the month. In addition, the new Galaxy Fold update does not add system optimization or new features.
However, the April 2021 security update is being rolled out in phases, so it will be widely used in the coming days. Users of Galaxy Fold can manually check for the update through Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
