Samsung has now begun dispatching the all-new One UI 5.1 software update for the mid-range Galaxy M12 smartphones. The latest software carries multiple cosmetic and performance-related changes and optimization options for your Galaxy device, in order to take the user experience to the next level.
As per the information, the users of Samsung Galaxy M12 smartphones are initially receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 update in India, and the latest software can be identified via the One UI build version M127GXXU4DWC4. Additionally, it comes with an installation package of 938.21MB.
One UI 5.1 Features
Based on Android 13 the One UI 5.1 update comes with a bundle of new features and enhancements over One UI 5.0. Such as, the Gallery app is receiving a common family album for easier sharing, a more convenient information display in horizontal view, more effective searches, and more.
Moving on, the Samsung Widget section is receiving three major changes. The new Battery Widget shows your phone and connected device battery on the home screen, the Dynamic Weather Widget provides a weather summary, and the improved Smart Suggestion Widget now recommends you a Spotify playlist.
Furthermore, it also offers the pop-up view and split-screen view features for easier multitasking, Bixby Text Call in the English language, Continue using app on other devices feature support for Samsung Internet, the ability to add Modes-based wallpapers, and more.
Besides all this, the update also installs the March 2023 Android security patch for improved security and better functioning of the system. Thus, the update is rolling out gradually in India, and the company will expand its reach to more users in the coming days. Indian users can install the update manually through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
