Samsung Galaxy Note 20 gets March 2021 security update in the US
Launched back in 2020, the Galaxy Note 20 series is a premium offering from Samsung that comes with a bunch of high-end features such as a flagship-grade camera, 5G connectivity, powerful processor, and much more.
The Note 20 phones have recently been upgraded to the latest One UI 3.1 version which is based on Android 11. Also, these were one of the first devices to test the beta for the One UI 3.0 alongside the Galaxy S20 lineup.
Moving further, Samsung is currently rolling out March 2021 security update for its Galaxy devices while plenty of them have already received this update. Likewise, the Galaxy Note 20 users have also got these security improvements in some European countries previously.
According to the latest information, the company is now releasing March 2021 security update for the Galaxy Note 20 users in the United States. The latest firmware for the Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G can be identified via version number N981U1UES2DUC1 and N986U1UES2DUC1 respectively.
As per Samsung, the March 2021 security patch for the Galaxy devices comes with fixes for 4 critical bugs and also fixes 26 high-level vulnerabilities. Aside from the security improvements, there are no new features added to the devices.

The Galaxy Note 20 users in the US can also check for the update manually if they haven’t received it over the air. To check for the update manually, go to Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
