Samsung Galaxy Note 20 starts getting June 2021 security update globally!

After updating several flagships, Samsung started updating the Galaxy Note series to the June 2021 security patch. Recently, the Galaxy Note 10 series started receiving the latest Android patch, and now the latest Galaxy Note flagships have joined the party with the June 2021 security patch.

Now, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra getting the company’s June 2021 One UI patch and new software updates. Surprisingly, Samsung pushed a wider rollout of this firmware as it spotted in several European countries and the US as well.

Samsung’s June 2021 security patch update continues to affect the US-unlocked Galaxy Note 20 series on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T operators, and the international variants powered by Exynos are gradually rolling out across Europe.

Well, we are still waiting to get the details of Samsung’s June 2021 security patch, which is expected to be released at some point. Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones have been confirmed to receive the upcoming One UI 3.5 version. While we cannot confirm the exact release date of the One UI 3.5 update, it is likely to arrive in September this year.

After launching One UI 3.5, Samsung will definitely begin Android 12 beta development for its eligible devices in October this year, and the Galaxy Note 20 series is second in the company’s One UI 4.0 beta eligible timeline. After that, the Galaxy flagships are expected to launch a stable One UI 4.0 version later this year.
