At the end of last month, Samsung’s Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 series have begun to obtain security patches for May 2021, and provide new Director View-based camera functions for older flagships. At the time, the company initially released this update in some European regions.
Now, according to the latest information, the security patch in May 2021 has crossed the border of the European market and reached the Galaxy Note 20 model in South Korea. The OTA comes with firmware versions: N986NKSU1CUDA and N981NKSU1CUDA for Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Note 20 respectively.

Just like the international version, South Korea’s Galaxy Note 20 has also received a new director’s vision-inspired camera function, called “dual recording.” When enabled, it can record video from the rear (main) and front cameras at the same time.
In addition, the new update of the Galaxy Note 20 series also improves the camera performance and fast sharing functions to provide a better overall user experience. Although these changes come with a package size of approximately 400MB, it is recommended that you download it via a Wi-Fi connection.
