Back in August 2020, Samsung announced its last Galaxy Note flagship lineup – Galaxy Note 20, which includes two handsets. The Note 20 series is pre-installed with One UI 2.5 based on Android 10, which is compatible with three generations of Android operating system upgrades.
In December 2020, the Galaxy Note 20 duo received the One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11, followed by One UI 3.1 earlier this year. Nevertheless, these devices will still be eligible for Android 12-based One UI 4.0 and Android 13-based One UI updates in the future.
In addition to major firmware upgrades, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones are eligible for new security patch updates every month until 2024, due to the new Samsung update policy.
