[UPDATE: Unlocked US variants too] Samsung releases the September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra
UPDATE:
The Galaxy Note 20 series devices are now receiving the September 2020 security patch in the US for the unlocked units. The software versions are N981U1UES1ATI1 and N986U1UES1ATI1 for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra respectively.
SEPTEMBER 07, 2020:
Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5 at the Galaxy Unpacked event and after that, the company has rolled out the 2 software updates for the newly launched Galaxy Note 20 series, including the latest one.
Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy Note 20 series will be receiving at least 3 major Android OS updates.
The Galaxy Note 20 series is now receiving its second software update with the September 2020 security patch. It is currently rolling out in European countries and should soon be available in other regions.

The software version of this update is N981BXXS1ATH9/N985FXXS1ATH9 and N986BXXS1ATH9/N985FXXS1ATH9 for the Galaxy Note 20 4G/5G and Note 20 Ultra 4G/5G respectively.

Apart from the security patch, the latest software update doesn’t bring any other features. You can also expect a few minor bug fixes.
