Samsung just launched the Galaxy Note 20 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event, and the new duo is already receiving a new software update. The software version of this update is N981BXXU1ATH3 and N986BXXU1ATH3 for the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra respectively. The size of this update is nearly 500MB.

As per the information, the latest software update brings the August 2020 security patch alongside the performance improvements and bug fixes. This will be the first software update when you start the Galaxy Note 20 devices.

As confirmed by Samsung, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will be receiving the 3 major Android OS updates, which means the company will give Android 11, Android 12, and Android 13 to the latest Galaxy Note devices.

The three major Android OS upgrade cycle will also be applicable to those flagship Galaxy devices launched with Android 9 or later. It includes the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, and Galaxy S20 series.
