Samsung Galaxy S20 and Note 20 Series will no longer get monthly updates
Samsung has recently revised its software update policy and with that, the firm has moved its two prominent Galaxy S20 and Note 20 lineups to the quarterly update schedule. Hence, Samsung Galaxy S20 Series and Galaxy Note 20 will no longer get monthly updates.
The move to remove the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series from monthly updates shows Samsung’s focus on optimizing and improving updates before rolling them out to flagship Galaxy devices. Hence, it’s all about ensuring a smooth and secure experience.
No longer monthly updates for Samsung Galaxy S20, Note 20, and S20 FE
To be mentioned, getting demoted from the monthly security patches doesn’t mean your device will not be protected from the latest enhancements. You’ll still be getting important updates, but they’ll be released three months instead of every month.
So, even though the update frequency is changing, you can still expect to receive those important updates packed with improvements and fixes to keep your device running smoothly.
