Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy A52 receiving April 2021 security update

Samsung is currently busy rolling out updates for its Galaxy devices, the company is releasing both the major and the security updates including the One UI 3.1 and March security update. And now, ahead of the month, the April 2021 security update has also started to mark for several Galaxy devices.

The Galaxy S21 was the first to receive April security improvements, followed by the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Z Fold 2. The Galaxy A21s and Galaxy A51 have also got these security improvements alongside the One UI 3.1 update.

Now as per the latest information, the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S20 FE are now getting a new update that comes with April 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability. The latest firmware can be identified with the software version A525FXXU1AUC5 and G780FXXS2CUC8 for the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S20 FE respectively.

Other than the security improvements the firmware does not add any new features to the device. Also, it is rolling out for the 4G variants of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S20 FE and soon it will be available for the 5G version as well.

As of now, the update is facing staged rollout and may take some time to cover every device. Meanwhile, the users can also check for updates manually through Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
