In addition to security improvements, this release does not bring new features, and the previous software improves the camera performance and enhances the quick sharing function to better share files between Android devices.

Galaxy S20 FE and One UI 2.5 based on Android 10 are available out of the box, and currently run the latest One UI 3.1 on top of last year’s Android 11 operating system. However, Google started the Android 12 beta test, and Samsung is missing from the participants of this event.

On the other hand, Samsung is currently developing another version of One UI based on Android 11, One UI 3.5. The next One UI iteration will be launched this summer along with the upcoming Galaxy flagship product, and then distributed to eligible galaxies.
