- One UI 3.1.1 features rolling out in India
The Galaxy S20 FE 5G is receiving a new software update in India, which comes with One UI 3.1.1 features and improvements alongside the September 2021 security patch. Well, the update rollout is not happening for the 4G variants at the moment.
The S20 FE update changelog shows improvements for the device’s security as well as stability. However, the update carries a heavy package size of nearly 785MB as it includes the changes and optimizations of the One UI version 3.1.1.

- Samsung September 2021 security patch
Samsung’s Galaxy S20 FE is already receiving the September 2021 security patch. Both variants of the Galaxy S20 FE (4G and 5G versions) have started receiving the update. This update is currently rolling out in Brazil, Italy, and Switzerland.
Samsung will likely start rolling out the September security patch to its other flagship devices within the next few days.

According to Sammy Fans, the update size is more than 700MB, which reportedly brings the One UI 3.1.1 features to the Galaxy S20 FE users. The software version is G781BXXU4CUH5.
If you want to check for the latest software update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
About Samsung September 2021 security patch:
Samsung has not yet released the details of the August 2021 security patch for the Galaxy Smartphones.
About One UI 3.1.1:
Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 with the One UI 3.1.1. After that the company is slowly rolling out the features to flagship smartphones, it has updated the Galaxy S21, S20, Note 20, and some more devices.
The One UI 3.1.1 doesn’t bring many new features. Notably, it brings the phone’s performance with “Enhanced Processing” and added a new Bedtime Mode toggle in the quick settings panel.
