Samsung is rolling out the June 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone users in India. The update brings improvements to system security and stability as well as fixes common bugs and issues affecting the user experience.

According to Samsung’s June 2022 security patch report, the update comes with fixes for 66 vulnerabilities and exploits to enhance the overall device performance. These include 5 critical, 39 high, and 1 moderate level CVEs from Samsung and Google.
Apart from these, the new firmware update does not bring any noticeable changes or new features for the respective device owners. However, users may notice some minor changes and improvements in certain system functionalities.
In case you haven’t received the update notification, you can manually check for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series June 2022 update by navigating to Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. To install it, tap on the Download button followed by Install now and reboot.
What about Samsung Galaxy S20 Android 13 One UI 5.0 update?
We don’t have any Android 13 upgrade rollout plans or roadmap for Samsung devices at this time, meanwhile, the company may begin One UI 5.0 beta testing with the Galaxy S22 series and other flagships in July.
Samsung Galaxy S20 will also get an Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update before the end of this year. This update will bring a range of new features and enhancements to your device.
