Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users can now install One UI 4.1.1 update in the US
Samsung started to roll out the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 update for its foldables and tablets. In the meantime, the company is also delivering One UI 4.1.1 on top of Android 12 for its regular flagship smartphones. After Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21 FE is the latest smartphone to install the One UI 4.1.1 update.
According to the official changelog, this software update brings a couple of new features. Along with this, it also brings some additional improvements as well as the August 2022 Android security patch for system security and stability enhancements.

Once you install this update on your Galaxy S21 FE, you will be able to edit file names even after it is shared through private sharing. To do this, you will need to go to Private Share. Then select sent or received files and select the Edit name option from the 3 dots menu.
Adding to this, the device is also getting enhanced Smart View with new Multi View features. The company brings a new Multi-View options window that appears on selecting the Multi-View controls from the Smart View drop-down list.
Besides these, there is nothing that the official changelog mentions, you might notice some additional changes and improvements once you install the update.

Only Verizon-locked Samsung Galaxy S21 FE models are getting the Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 update in the US. However, Samsung could expand this software update to more users in the coming time. If you live in the US and use a Verizon model, you can identify this update through the build version G990USQU3CVH8.
How to install manually:
Go to your phone’s Settings and tap on the Software update option, provided at the last. From here, tap on Download and install and wait for a while for the update to appear. Once visible hit the Download button followed by Install now/Schedule install.
