Samsung Galaxy S21 is the latest flagship series from the South Korean tech giant which was introduced back on January 14, 2021. These smartphones come with a series of new features along with the pre-installed Android 11 based One UI 3.1.
The company is currently releasing this latest One UI version for its eligible Galaxy devices. Meanwhile, the phone maker is also sending regular security updates to its smartphones and tablet to keep them safe from external threats and keep the security up to date.
As the S21 devices are the latest it is no surprise that these smartphones are now getting May 2021 security patch alongside some improvements. The update is initially spotted in Europe and comes with a big update size of more than 1GB and we recommend you update your smartphone over WiFi to save your data.

With this latest update, the Galaxy S21 series becomes the first among the Samsung devices to get the May 2021 security patch. This means that the phone maker has now started rolling out these latest security improvements and will soon be available for more Samsung models.

It is important to note that the update is rolling out in batches and it may take some time to reach every S21 device. Meanwhile, the users can also check for this update manually through Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
