Why is only the One UI 5.0 beta testers taking advantage of the new camera features? Samsung wants to give the same treatment to the non-One UI 5.0 beta testers as it has released the biggest Galaxy S22 series Camera update since its launch.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra smartphones in early February. Despite holding the best smartphone camera, users have faced many issues in photography. The company now wants to resolve those problems with a software update. Let’s check out the update in detail.
Telephoto camera Hyperlapse mode:
First of all, the company has added support for Hyperlapse mode in the 3x telephoto camera. It will help you capture some amazing clips, make easy transaction videos, and more on your Galaxy S22 phone.
Improved QR code scanner:
Samsung camera is already capable to scan QR codes. The company understands the importance of QR code scanners as it actively used in various fields such as electronic access lists, mobile tickets, URL access, business cards, and menu boards.
Therefore, it has now improved this feature. Galaxy S22 is getting improved usability and performance to increase the satisfaction of those who use QR codes with the Galaxy Camera. As per the info, the scanning speed is improved when scanning the QR code from the Quick Panel.
Additionally, the guide size has also been increased so that it can be recognized by placing the QR code on the enlarged guide screen. Also, the company has fixed a QR code issue: If a document was recognized before the QR code, the QR code could not be recognized.
Other than these, if you have canceled the QR code result in camera photo mode, the same QR code is not recognized again, but the usability has been improved so that it can be recognized again by touching the screen.
Other improvements:
The above-mentioned are the two major improvements that this Galaxy S22 camera upgrade brings. In addition to these, Samsung has also optimized memory and AI engine in Photo, Night, and Video mode, Picture quality such as HDR and color in photo mode, as well as VDIS performance and image quality when recording motion pictures.
Furthermore, in the June 2022 software update, the natural sharpness and contrast intensity adjustments provided to the wide-angle camera in Photo mode were applied to the ultra-wide/telephoto camera, and to the Pro and Portrait modes as well.
Lastly, the Night mode’s color and dark brightness have also been improved. And, in the case of ultra-low light, the company is preparing to improve it through AI learning and will bring it later.
