Samsung is rolling out the all-new April 2023 security update for the Galaxy S22 lineup in India. It’s a major firmware that brings various optimizations, and bug fixes for your flagship device, alongside it caries several new camera features.
As per the information, the users of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are receiving the April 2023 security update in India with One UI build version S901EXXU4CWCE, S906EXXU4CWCE and S908EXXU4CWCE respectively.
Going toward the details, the April 2023 security update will enhance the security and stability of your phone by improving the core mechanism. Meanwhile, it too obtains fixes for some vulnerabilities including 5 Critical, 46 High, and 1 Moderate level of common exposures.
In addition to these fixes, the latest firmware also adds some outstanding camera features like the Image Clipper of the recently launched Galaxy s23 series to the Galaxy S22 devices, in order to provide a more adequate photography experience.
Users will also notice improvements and some common bug fixes in the camera and gallery functions. Furthermore, some new elements are also added with the firmware such as optical image stabilization, faster image capturing in Photo mode, bug fixes related to Night mode, and sharpness increment.
However, the update is already rolled out in various markets including US and Europe and it’s now expanding for the Indian users of Galaxy S22. Thus, if you are operating the Galaxy S22 model then you can check for the latest update manually through Settings > Software update > Download & Install.
