Samsung is releasing a new software update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra users, which installs a February 2024 security patch to improve system security, stability, and performance.
The February 2024 update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is currently limited to European variants and the company will expand it to more markets in the coming days. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
This update includes patches from both Google and Samsung. The Google patches address 79 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) items, of which 3 are leveled as critical and 76 as high. The Samsung patches fix eight Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items, which are specific to Galaxy’s devices and applications.
