Samsung Galaxy S23 series receiving July 2024 update in Korea
Samsung Galaxy S23 series has started receiving the July 2024 security update in Korea. This patch brings several improvements and fixes to the devices. It also aims to enhance security and performance offering a seamless experience.
The July 2024 fixes 4 critical and 21 high-level CVEs. It also mends 33 SVE items, focusing on areas like One UI Home, System UI, Secure Folder, Knox, System Property, Filter Provider, Configuration Message, IMS service, and more.
As per the details, the July 2024 update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra has arrived with One UI build version S911NKSS4CXG4, S916NKSS4CXG4, and S918NKSS4CXG4 respectively in South Korea.

Not only Korea, the owners of the Galaxy S23 series have already acquired the July 2024 security patch in Europe, USA, UAE, India, Panama, and Australia. However, the remaining region users will also acquire the patch soon.
As usual, the firmware is rolling out via an over-the-air method and will take some time to cover all the eligible units in the country. The users who don’t want to wait for the OTA can go with the manual installation process.
To install the patch visit the Settings app and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions. Also, the patch carries an installation package of around 433.04MB.
