Samsung Galaxy S24 series has begun receiving the July 2024 security update. It’s a regular security patch that aims to elevate the device performance and offer users a more seamless, hassle-free, and overall optimized experience.
Samsung’s SMR bulletin of July 2024 mentions fixes for 4 critical and 21 high-level CVEs from Android. It also resolves 33 SVE items related to Secure Folder, Knox, System Property, Filter Provider, and more from One UI.
The patch provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. While, it also fixes bugs and glitches reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss
The July 2024 update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra has arrived with One UI build version S921NKSU3AXFG, S926NKSU3AXFG, and S928NKSU3AXFG respectively. It further carries a 537.37MP package.

Accordingly, it’s an initial rollout and the patch is currently live in South Korea. However, it will expand to more region users in the coming days or weeks.
Samsung Galaxy S24 series is also expected to receive the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta update sometime in August. However, a benchmark test on the Galaxy S24+ running Android 15 has already surfaced, showing promising results.
