BREAKING: Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note FE gets February 2021 security update
Back in January 2021, Samsung has started releasing the February 2021 security update for the Galaxy S20 series phones in Europe. Later on, the Galaxy S21, Note 20, S20 FE, and A51 also joined the party with the latest security patch.
Now, the South Korean tech giant sending new software update to the older flagship devices including the Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note FE. The latest update comes with build versions G960FXXSEFUA1, G965FXXSEFUA1, and N935SKSU4CUA1 for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note FE respectively.

As per the latest security bulletin, this update brings fixes for 32 high and 4 critical levels of CVEs. Furthermore, the company will send this new software update to the Galaxy S9 and Note FE phones in different batches, so it may take some time to available widely.
Other than the security patch, this software also comes with new performance improvements and enhancements for system functions for increased user experience.
How to check for updates manually:
- Open device Settings
- Select Software updates menu
- Finally hit Download and install button.
