Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 gets April 2022 security patch

Samsung released a new software update for the recently launched Galaxy Tab S8 series. That installs the April 2022 security for the device. The update is currently released in South Korea meanwhile it will soon start to expand to more region users in various countries.

Users of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 in South Korea can identify this update via One UI build version X706NKOU1AVD1, X806NKOU1AVD1, and X906NKOU1AVD1 for Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra.

The latest update comes with improved security and stability of your device’s system. It brings fixes for 88 privacy and security vulnerabilities from Google and Samsung including 27 high and 18 moderate levels of CVEs.

If you are a Galaxy Tab S8 user in Korea, you might have received the notification for the latest update. If not then you can check it manually by visiting the Settings of your smartphone. From here, tap Software update and click Download and install.

Furthermore, the installation procedure may take some time to complete the package unpacking. So, keep patience and let the phone install this software update. Once, installed the phone will reboot and start initial apps optimizations.
