Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 now getting April 2021 security update with camera improvements
Samsung is now busy rolling out updates for its Galaxy devices, the company is releasing both the major and the security updates including the One UI 3.1 and March security update. And now, ahead of the month, the April 2021 security update has also started to mark for several Galaxy devices.
The Galaxy S21 was the first to receive April security improvements, followed by the Galaxy Note 10. The Galaxy A21s and Galaxy A51 have also got these security improvements alongside the One UI 3.1 update.
According to the latest information, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is now getting the April 2021 security updates which bring improved system security and device stability. However, the company hasn’t yet released the security bulletin for the month which we expect in the coming days.
The latest update is initially rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 users in Germany and Russia and will soon expand to the other regions as well. It can be identified with the software version F916BXXU1DUCE.
Besides the latest security, the update also comes with some camera improvements the which are still unknown at the moment as the changelog doesn’t give any details about the changes. While the camera improvements will just include some improvements and not any major feature or change.

As of now, the update is facing staged rollout and may take some time to cover every device. Meanwhile, the users can also check for updates manually through Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
