Samsung has seeded various devices with the refinements and fixes of the September 2023 One UI patch meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 have now only joined the latest update party. Notably, the firmware is initially released in Europe and will expand to more market owners soon.
As per the information, the users of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be able to identify the September 2023 update via the One UI build version F946BXXU1AWI3 and F731BXXU1AWI3 respectively. In addition, the patch also carries around 400MB package size.
Moving toward the offerings, so the latest update didn’t carry any new features or major changes for your newly launched devices, but it assures to keep the system up to date and protected with the most recent security protocols and technology enhancements.
The September 2023 security patch bulletin also mentions fixes for over 60 vulnerability exposures that can harm the device’s security and user’s data. Hence, if you want an optimized and boosted performance of your foldable smartphone, then upgrade it to the latest version, as soon as the patch reaches you.
To download the update all you need to do is visit the Settings app and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
