Samsung has released a new software update for the Galaxy Fold 5G smartphone. This update improves system security by installing the latest Android and One UI patches released in May 2021.
European users can recognize this release by the internal version – F907BXXU5EUD7, while the same update for the Korean version comes with the PDA firmware version – F907NKOU3EUD7.
In addition to security improvements, this new Galaxy Fold 5G update will not bring new features or major changes in system performance. At the same time, it fixes some unknown errors to get a better overall user experience.

Starting this month, the company began to send security updates for May 2021 to some Galaxy devices, and Galaxy Fold 4G is one of them. Now the 5G version has also received newer security patches, including fixes to Google’s three key CVEs and Samsung’s 23 CVEs.
However, this is done in stages, so it may take some time to reach all Galaxy Fold 5G models. At that time, you can manually check for software updates by going to the device settings, selecting software updates, and then clicking download and install.
