The Korean tech giant takes care of the safety of its every product whether we talk about smartphones, tablets, or smartwatches. Now, to maintain the stability of the precious wearables Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Samsung is rolling out April 2023 update with several improvements and fixes.
The owners of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic will be able to identify the April 2023 security update via the build version ending with GWD6, and owners of the wearables will need to install a package of around 300.81MB. Notably, the update is rolling out in the home ground at the moment and soon reach the remaining users.
As per the changelog, the latest April 2023 firmware has updated the Samsung Health app, so that the users could use the significant functionalities of their wearable in a more appropriate way. Simultaneously, the update will also promote the functioning of the Watch 4 lineup, by fixing some common threats of the wearables.
Thus, if you want a more sophisticated performance of your Watch 4 or the Watch 4 Classic, then upgrade it to the latest version as soon as possible. Also, the firmware is currently released for the Bluetooth variant in South Korea and it will expand to more in the coming days or weeks.
How to download the update
Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected Android smartphone and then go to the Watch settings. Here, tap on the Watch software update option. If your watch displays a Home tab, swipe up and tap Watch software update. Finally, tap the Download and Install option to start downloading process.
