June 30, 2020: Samsung Galaxy S10 series gets the July 2020 security patch

Samsung is now rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S10 series. The latest update comes with the July 2020 security patch. This update is currently rolling out in European countries but should soon be available to other regions.

The software version of this update is G970FXXS7CTF3, G973FXXS7CTF3, and G975FXXS7CTF3 for the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ respectively.

June 29, 2020: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip gets the July 2020 update

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is now getting the July 2020 security patch. The software version of this update is F700FXXS2ATF3 for the Galaxy Z Flip. The size of this update is 200MB.

June 29, 2020: Samsung Galaxy A50 gets the July security patch

Samsung is rolling out the July 2020 security patch to the Galaxy A50 in Portugal. The software version of this update is A505FNXXU5BTF5. It should soon be available in other regions.

We currently do not have the information about the July 2020 security patch. As there’s no changelog available.

Once the latest update becomes available in your country, you will get a notification on your phone. You can also check for the July 2020 security update manually by heading to the device Settings and go to Software update > Download and install.

June 25, 2020: Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra are receiving the July 2020 security patch

Samsung is rolling out a new software update for its Galaxy S20 series devices. The update brings some camera improvements, along with the July 2020 security patch. It is currently rolling out in South Korea but is expected to expand to other markets soon. Read here more.
