These are privacy and security issues that only affect the Korean firm’s devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Alongside Google patches, Samsung provides 41 Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items described below to increase our customers’ confidence in the security of their Samsung Mobile devices. The Samsung security index (SSI), SMR July 2022 version 1 available in the “security software version” includes all patches from Samsung and Google.

According to the description, the new July 2022 security update fixes 32 security and privacy-related vulnerabilities, including 3 critical, 20 high levels, and 7 moderate CVEs, and some issues resolved by Google and some improvements by the Samsung software team. Some of the SVE items may not be included in this package if these items were included in an earlier maintenance release.
