Samsung One UI 7 could bring iOS 18-inspired features
Following the official announcement of One UI 6.1.1, the focus of Galaxy fans and tech enthusiasts has now shifted toward the next iteration of Samsung’s custom skin. Meanwhile, a recent input suggests, One UI 7 could bring iOS 18-inspired features.
As per the details, tipster @chunvn8888 has shared a list of features that Samsung could bring with the One UI 7 update. The source on his X post mentions that One UI 7 will be heavily inspired by iOS 18. Some of the key features of the update include.
New icons – The update will introduce new and more rounded icons with subtle 3D effects like MacOS and VisionOS.
Customizable quick actions – Users will be able to personalize the quick actions on the lock screen with limited options.
Updated Camera app icon – The One UI 7 update might make the gallery app background white alongside rainbow-type flower.
Split notification panel – The notification panel will be split into two parts, with a swipe down from the left expanding notifications and a swipe down from the right displaying quick settings.
Revamped camera app – The camera app will be simplified with a new menu system and repositioned icons for easier access.
Lock screen widget customization – Users will be able to customize the lock screen with more rounded widgets.
