Samsung is releasing the September 2023 Android security update for unlocked models of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the US. However, the One UI 6 Beta based on the Android 14 operating system is also live for the corresponding models in various markets.
The latest patch will address over 60 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung, and then further solidify the device’s functioning for a better experience. It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure.
The consumers of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra unlocked units will be able to identify the September 2023 update via the One UI build version S911U1UES1AWHD, S916U1UES1AWHD, and S918U1UES1AWHD respectively.
To access the latest patch users will need to download a 383.84MB package size and you can install it through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
