Samsung releases Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update for Galaxy S21 in the US
Samsung rolling out a new software update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices, which mainly installs the all-new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 operating system. With several new sophisticated features, functions, and a brand-new user interface.

Based on Android 13 the One UI 5.0 update can be identified via the One UI build version G991USQU5DVK3, G991USQU5DVK3, and G991USQU5DVK3 for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra devices.
Moreover, the US Cellular variant was the first to experience the offerings of stable One UI 5.0, and it’s currently rolling out for carrier-locked models of the Galaxy S21 series in the United States. However, it will reach the remaining users shortly.
Also, there will be the ability to change per-app language, new notifications layout, improved mini pop-up UI, custom caller backgrounds, bigger app icons in the notifications, and smoother animations. The update also carries dozens of new features to the stock apps.
How to Download the update manually
- Visit your phone’s Settings.
- Scroll down and enter the Software update section.
- Tap the Download and install option and wait for a few seconds.
- Once the update is visible, tap on the Download button.
- After downloading, Install the update and Reboot your device.
