Samsung has started dispatching the June 2023 Android security update for the carrier-unlocked models of the Galaxy S23 series in the US. However, the firmware is already live in various countries and the locked variants have also collected the optimizations days before.
As per the information, June 2023 update is currently available for the unlocked models of Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra on the T-Mobile network in the US. Therefore, the remaining network users will also collect the latest security patch very soon.
Moving on, the changelog of the patch didn’t bring any new features for your flagship device, but it assures to keep it up to date with the most recent security protocols and advancements. Additionally, the u[date will also resolve common bugs and exploits for a seamless experience.
Users may also encounter some customizations and new offerings in the camera and gallery app of their smartphone. June 2023 security maintenance release further mentions fixes for 50 CVE and 3 SVE items from Google and Samsung to maintain the stability of the system.
