Samsung rolls out May 2023 firmware for Galaxy Watch 5 series
Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, which installs a period tracking feature to allow women track their monthly period simply on their wristwatch, also, the update changelog didn’t mention any particular patch, but consumers of the watch can download it as a May 2023 firmware.
The May 2023 firmware is rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro devices with a build version ending with AWDA and it further carries an installation package of 316.77 megabytes. Additionally, the update is rolling out in Germany at the moment, which is already available in various markets.
To all the women, if you are wearing a Galaxy Watch 5 or Galaxy Watch 5 Pro as your daily fitness tracker and living in Germany, then upgrade the Samsung Health App to the latest version and make your life a little easier with this latest and very useful period tracking feature, as it will predict your menstrual cycle date with your body temperature.
In addition to this new component, the latest update will also improve the stability of the wearable and let it function more seamlessly. However, the Korean tech giant will expand the reach of this latest feature to more users in the coming days or weeks. Till then, you can check and install it in Germany.
To download the update, open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected Android smartphone and then go to the Watch settings. Here, tap on the Watch software update option. If your watch displays a Home tab, swipe up and tap Watch software update. Finally, tap the Download and Install option to start downloading process.
