Last week, Samsung releases the May 2023 security update for the Galaxy S10 series devices and now the patch is rolling out for the remaining member of the family which is the Galaxy S10 Lite. This new firmware will make your device more safe and secure with the latest protocols and technology advancements.
As per the information, the owners of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite are collecting the May 2023 security patch with One UI build version G770FXXS7HWE1 and a download package of 264.37MB. Therefore, it’s recommended to opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection and prepare a backup of all the important data for the safe side.

The firmware aims to eliminate privacy-related bugs and issues from the core mechanism. Besides, it also checks the performance level of the device and makes the functions more adequate. The security patch bulletin also mentions fixes for over 70 exploits and vulnerabilities including 58 CVEs and 21 SVEs from Google and Samsung.
In addition, the patch will enhance the security and stability of the system and make the Galaxy S10 Lite device more reliable for prolonged use with a seamless user experience. Furthermore, you may also notice improved operation of some applications and a slight boost in the overall interpretation of the handy gadget.
Notably, the update is initially rolling out in Brazil and will be available for more users in the coming days or weeks. Simultaneously, the firmware is hovering in the region through the OTA (Over The Air) method. Hence, it will take some days to land on every eligible unit of the mentioned devices.
Therefore, if you don’t want to wait for the OTA and need to install the fresh software immediately, then proceed with the manual downloading process. To do so, go to the Settings menu, swipe up, and select the Software Update section, now wait for the device to complete its search. For the available update, tap on the Download & Install button.
