We have entered a new month and there are still some Galaxy devices left that have not yet obtained the fixes and optimizations of the May 2023 update, therefore the Samsung Galaxy Galaxy A04s, Galaxy A13, Galaxy A12, and Galaxy A12 Nacho are the latest among them.
As per the information, Samsung is rolling out the May 2023 update for a bunch of A series devices including Galaxy A04s, Galaxy A13, Galaxy A12, and Galaxy A12 Nacho. With this latest firmware, the company assures to keep the devices protected with recent advancements.
May 2023 update is a regular monthly firmware that aims to increase the security of the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It also offers improved protection against dangerous threats, viruses, and other safety-related glitches, that can harm the system.
Moving on, the update will also boost the overall performance of the system and allow users to operate their handy gadgets more seamlessly. In addition, the May 2023 security patch bulletin further mentions fixes for over 70 security flaws including CVEs and SVEs from Google and Samsung.
Other than these common improvements, there are no new features or major changes noticed in the changelog. Thus, we suggest upgrading the device to the latest version, as it will improve the core mechanism of the system, which will result in better interpretation and sustained protection.
Availability
Talking about availability, the latest firmware for Galaxy A04s is rolling out in Thailand with One UI build version A047FXXS4CWE1. Whereas, the Galaxy A13 4G models are collecting the patch in Europe and the 5G variant is grabbing it in Asia with version A135FXXU4CWE5 and A136BXXS4CWE1 respectively.
Furthermore, the update for Galaxy A12 is rolling out in Asia and the 12 Nacho consumers will be able to download it in Brazil with build numbers A125FXXS3CWE1 and A127MUBS9DWE1 respectively. Also, it’s an initial rollout, thus the company will expand its reach to more users in the coming days.
